Honey's Hoagies

A customer had contacted me about a creating a banner for their sandwich shop. Their shops name is "Honey's Hoagies".
A specific design request was to include the bee theme from the owners name "Honey". Therefore yellow and black was the decided color.

Final Product
The entire design immediately shows a sense of comfort. Its rounded text is inviting and reminds one of a country home.
Its hexagon shapes invoke the namesake of "Honey" being a symbol of hives and, of course, bees.

Process
After the restrictions were placed by the customer our first step was to determine the focus. They wanted a simple design with at the forefront. Therefore we worked closely with the text in order to provided the exact result the customer wanted.
Later I pitched the idea for hexagons adding into the "Honey" theme. This was received very well and added into the design.
Several fonts were offered based on the customers prefrences.
Next the orientation was decided. Organizing and rearranging the text.
Final Design was created, along with a Facebook Banner and Profile Picture
